Whitebeam Documentation...

Whitebeam has it's roots in a commerical development by a company called Redbourne. Redbourne spent over a year developing the core of the Whitebeam environment before taking the bold move of releasing the code into the Open Source arena. As well as the code Redbourne released all the developer documentation necessary to build sites using the Whitebeam environment.

As a result of the commercial lineage of the Whitebeam environment the project benefits from a complete document set - more usually associated with commercial software development. The entire architecture is documented - including all the JavaScript APIs. In addition Redbourne has provided a number of tutorials and complete worked examples.
