YellowHawk

YellowHawk is an independent software development and consultancy company specialising in e-business applications and associated services. YellowHawk uses Whitebeam to deliver cost effective, reliable, functionally rich web-based applications to its clients. YellowHawk did the GadgetSpeak site.

YellowHawk was founded by whitebeam architect and developer Peter Wilson. This in-depth knowledge allows YellowHawk to offer Whitebeam consultancy, customisation and hosting services.

GadgetSpeak

A successful on-line community web-site attracting over 70,000 visitors a month. Members have access to forums, blogs and can write reviews of favourite gadgets. Editors moderate contributions before publication. Also integrates with affiate marketing services, exports RSS feeds, automatically generates rich-text email summaries.

Large site with lots of members and traffic - completely implemented using Whitebeam.

SurveyBox

Online survey and questionaire product for anyone that needs to carry out online research. Surveys can be carried out either from the dedicated SurveyBox site or from a white-labelled implementation for a specific research organisation.

ipcortex provide secure, reliable network design and management solutions. They use Whitebeam for their own web-site, and offer implementation services based on Whitebeam and other Open Source server technologies. They sell security and network resiliency products and services on-line through their solutions shop

Bletchley Park

Historic site of secret British codebreaking activities during WWII and birthplace of the modern computer. Example of a fully content managed site with integrated shop using Whitebeam throughout.

Phillips Presentation Products

A commercial site developed and hosted by Redbourne. It uses Whitebeam to implement a dynamic on-line catalogue and interactive "Product Finder", with real a time quotation engine.

Doc.Control

This site provides sophisticated document control and management, dealing with drafting, review, revisioning, authorisation and release. It's also one of the first application to support the XPRL language for public relations. All built on Whitebeam XML capabilities.

Whitebeam is the key building block providing membership services, discussion forums and work groups along with event management and other services essential to enabling a geographically dispersed organisation to achieve it's goals.

Content management functions allow non-technical administrators to easily maintain the site content.
