Postcode Template Overview

Introduction

The postcode template provides lookup operations to translate from various national postcode schemes into global [longitude,latitude] pairs. The template is designed to support various national schemes. The schemes supported by a particular server will depend on the data fed into the template during initialisation.

The Postcode template was introduced to Whitebeam with the 1.3.4 release.
